Thanks for the upload. Such a wonderful classic. Not only Harold Lloyd, but a fantastic supporting cast. Adolph Menjou, Lionel Stander, Helen Mack, etc. With all the "talent" in Hollywood, today, they can't touch a film like this one. Great script and Leo Macarey's direction was flawless! Thanks again.
Menjou and Teasdale were actually married.
Thank you for uploading the movie.
ADOLPH ZUKOR PRESENTS !! — the Gold Seal Guarantee of movie quality!!
Harold Llyod and Helen Mack. Like most film stars at the time stared in the silent movies. But when sound pictures came along many did not last and some did not have the voice for the "Talkies" like Valentino. Unlike the boxing trainer haha. Harold and Helen did well. Remember the building climbing scene and the clock. Did you know that the clock was build on top of that building just for that fantastic scene, what camera work and Harold did his own Stunts and that was the same for actors of that time. Well stunt people did not excise at that time. You might remember Helen Mack was in the follow up movie to King Kong. The son of Kong with Robert Armstrong, Hope you enjoy this film.
Silent star Harold Lloyd went successfully to sound like the master entertainer he is most beloved for. The unscrupulous media led by America's favorite killjoy Charles Lane totally mischaracterize events. Gee I guest times haven't changed. Adolphe Menjou and his long-suffering girlfriend, Verree Teasdale take the hilarity to new heights in trying to promote Lloyd in the ring. Multi-talented Helen Mack is courted by William Gargan and who can blame him. America's favorite society lady Marjorie Gateson gets a memorable boxing lesson from the milkman.
SWEET MOTHER OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN THIS IS SUCH A COINCIDENCE!! Last night I watched 'The Kid from Brooklyn' starring Danny Kaye on DVD. And what does YouTube recommend tonight? This! I had no idea that Harold Lloyd did it first!
You know it's before WWII when there are people named Adolph in a film
When he jumped over the hedge into the water was the funniest part of the movie.
This is a freaking funny movie, ese. Lloyd is a master of comedy and he makes its seem natural.
This movie sucks
Why it black and white

The quick-witted blonde is the archetype for Eve Arden to inspire to. I wonder if she saw this early in her career and decided to move in that direction with her career.
