Here’s my Top 10 Favourite Psychology Books (and who I would recommend them to)! I read these at different points of my life and influenced my path as a student and even now as a psychologist- there’s a good mix of self-help, psychological science, lived experience and even a textbook! It’s a bit of a long one so buckle in and hope you enjoy! 🙂

    My favorite psychology book I read was probably Alfred Adler's Understanding Human Nature.

    I just wanted to let you know that a lot of autistic people don’t like the term ‘ASD’ because we conceptualise our neurodivergence as a difference, but not a disorder.

    If you’re interested in Temple Grandin, you may also be interested in reading the critiques that some autistic people have written of her work. She can be ableist at times and you might be interested in that as a psychologist.
