A new twist on the story line of how the FL stays behind and the husband goes off to war but in this case he goes off to study abroad. She waited for him and took care of his family. He came back with a mistress and then wanted to marry the mistress because he says he fell in love. FL was like ok well since that’s the case then you go ahead and marry her as your concubine. That family was using her for her money and her family reputation. They didn’t appreciate her. FL was strong, smart and stood her ground. She got her divorce and marry the same day. Her new husband love and respect her. She handle the stuff like a boss where she didn’t allow anyone to step on her. She got her happy ending and those evils got what they deserved where two went to jail and the others went homeless.
The storyline good to watch but for some reason i dont really like this era?? I like it either costume or modern nothing in between…😅😅 i dont know if it the transition era? The clothing? Or it just me…but good version though ❤❤❤
I like a strong FL character not like some love brain idiot who will fight and degrade herself so that she will be loved like we usually saw in many drama the fl will constantly try to win the affection of the husband even though if he will clearly tell her that he love some one else if the story is like this one if he say that he like some one do like this fl you can marry and divorce the scumb find yourself someone better and who loves you more

It's different and interesting. If the FL was ever a pushover, it isn't shown. The FL is strong and intelligent. She divorced the stupid ML as soon as he returned with his pregnant mistress. The new hubby is awesome and good-looking. The FL and SML make a great CP.
This is yet another version of the “My Scumbag Husband returned from War with another Woman”-story with good actors. This one is set in the Republican era (that’s the first I’ve seen) and the husband returns from studying abroad (not war). Other than that, it’s pretty much the basic (bla bla bla) plotline but spiced up with new features and adaptations to that era, like the lawyer-arc, the brother-arc and the kind of business. Well, it’s an interesting watch.
SYNOPSIS – SPOILER ALERT!!!
FL has been taking care of her husband’s family and subsidizing and expanding his family business while he has been studying abroad for 3 years. Now he (2ML) returns but brings with him a pregnant woman (2FL) he wants to marry. In order for him to do so, he demands a divorce from FL. Despite initially being supported by his grandmother, she accidentally overhears that the only reason for her doing so is the dowry and wealth of FL’s deceased family. A divorce from FL would mean a financial blow to 2ML’s family.
In order to carry out her plans to divorce her husband but take away all her own money, she agrees to accept 2FL entering the house as a concubine. So, in the following days, she starts her plans for revenge. Doing so requires the forming of an alliance with the new warlord in the area (ML), who turns out to be 2ML’s younger brother who severed ties with his family years earlier.
